I only thought the exterior selections were hard. Two hours and countless samples later, the interior selections were done. Now, if there were only walls and floors to see them in real life!
For the walls and cabinet colors, neutral it is! I'm a huge neutral fan, but didn't want to have to pick between greys or browns, so went with greige-best of both! This color strip has become my best friend throughout this whole thing!
In the master bathroom, the tile will be Cancun Playa, this beautiful, rich looking pattern. It was a brand new option when I went to look and it goes perfect with the white with Mexican Sand marble picked for the countertops! Mexican themed means margaritas, right? The answer is always yes.
The guest bath and laundry room choice is from the same line of tile, but a much lighter color, Cancun Marina! There aren't as big of windows or as big of an open space as there is in the master bath so I went with something much lighter to make it feel bigger & brighter.
The rest of the house is hardwood, thank goodness for no carpet. Thankfully it wasn't too difficult since this one is a perfect match with the greige color scheme! It looks a little more grey in this picture than it really is, but it's a wide planked, engineered hardwood so will be hand scraped when it's finished!
This whole process has made my heart so grateful for my mom tagging along to every appointment and patient people that spend two hours comparing grout colors for each of these and so much more!
xoxo
