I thought deciding on a floor plan was difficult, I had no idea what I was getting in to. Within two weeks of signing papers and picking the floor plan, I had to have the following picked out:
brick color, trim color, gutter color and morter color.
Thankfully, they suggest you drive around the neighborhood and pick out a house that is already built similar to what you like and give them that address so they can make yours the same color scheme. I drove through 4 neighborhoods and took pictures of peoples houses for two days. I debated on brown or red, dark or light, cream or chocolate, all of the above (kidding, but it felt like it). My heart has never been more grateful than when I finally decided on one! I'm so happy with it and can't wait to see the finished product in a few months! Here are a few samples of what I looked at, any guesses on what I picked?

I finished my interior selections this morning (I thought picking brick was hard-HA) and they poured the footing for the foundation this afternoon. One week closer to moving in! I'm finally staying in town for a weekend so I'm sure it'll be filled with shopping for decorations and hopefully warmer weather.
